ISO 17025 Accreditation Successfully Renewed by UKAS

We are pleased to share that our ISO 17025 accreditation, awarded by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), has been successfully reassessed and renewed for our amino acid analysis and protein sequencing services. ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard that specifies the requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of testing and calibration laboratories. UKAS, the UK’s national accreditation body, rigorously evaluates laboratories against these standards to ensure compliance and reliability. Achieving accreditation to this standard demonstrates technical proficiency and adherence to strict quality management practices. Once a laboratory obtains ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, it is essential to maintain compliance with the standard. UKAS conducts annual surveillance assessments, and full reassessments every 4 years, to ensure laboratories continue to meet the requirements
